Coding Course for Children – Learn Programming and Logical Thinking

A beginner-friendly coding course designed for children who are starting their journey into programming.

At Better Academy, we have been supporting children in discovering their technology and coding talents for over 12 years.

Just like in our Young Filmmaker programme, this course is built around practice, creative problem-solving and the creative process — not passive learning.

Does your child enjoy games, logic puzzles and technology?
Do they wonder how games and apps are actually created?

This is the perfect moment to start learning how computers think — and how to think logically alongside them.

Why Is This Coding Course Different?

Programming from scratch – even for complete beginners

No prior experience is required. We explain programming step by step, showing how computers process instructions and how simple ideas turn into real games.

Creating games and mini-projects from the very first lesson

Each class ends with a visible result on the screen.
Children don’t just learn code — they build something real every time.

Small groups (2–4 students) = real mentor support

With very small groups, the mentor: sees the child’s screen live, helps immediately, explains mistakes calmly and clearly. This dramatically accelerates learning and builds confidence.

Logical thinking and focus – skills school rarely teaches well

Coding naturally develops: logical and structured thinking, concentration and patience, problem-solving skills. These competencies are critical for future education and careers, far beyond programming itself.

Mentoring, not just teaching

Our teachers are professional programmers and educators.
They don’t just teach syntax — they support, motivate and help young talents grow.

Recorded lessons – nothing is ever missed

All lessons are recorded. If a child cannot attend live, they receive the recording and can complete the project independently.

What Is Needed to Join the Course?

To ensure effective learning, the child needs:

  • a computer or laptop (tablets are not sufficient),
  • stable internet connection,
  • a camera (must be turned on during class),
  • headphones and microphone for clear communication,
  • a quiet place to focus,
  • curiosity and willingness to learn.

Classes last 60 minutes and are conducted live online with a teacher.
